Are you interested in having your children become involved with high school rodeo competitions? High school rodeos is a part of the National High School Rodeo Association (NHSRA) and is an exceptional way for kids and their horses to learn about sportsmanship, riding, and the sport of rodeo.
At Ferrante Ranch, we help sponsor high school rodeos in Southern California and offer training for both young adults and their horses. Our Southern California horse ranch has been family owned and operated for 40 years and we have 150 years of combined experience.
There are many different types of events involved in high school rodeo competition, all of which our Southern California horse trainers have experience with. We take great pride in supporting associations like the NHSRA by offering programs to get young riders ready to compete. By starting involvement with riding and competitions as young as possible, youth riders can further their abilities and confidence in their riding, while being a part of a positive, social atmosphere with other competitors.
In addition to the above, we are also here to help high school girls prepare for the Rodeo Queen Contest. The NHSRA Queen Contest is intended for young women in rodeo to represent and act as a spokesperson for the sport of rodeo. One part of the judged queen competition is horsemanship. We have helped girls compete at national levels in the queen competition through sharpening their horsemanship and riding skills.
